ROWAN JANISZEWSKI

Rowan Janiszewski is a 2017 graduate of the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage. Beyond school, they have taken continuing education courses in oncology massage and are currently taking courses in hospice massage. They also have a background working with athletes and treatment-based massage therapy.

Their goal is to provide a client-centered massage session in which the client feels comfortable, safe, and in control of their treatment. Rowan has worked in many fields, from pastry chef to gardener before finding their career as a massage therapist, and they hope to continue to work and grow in the field. They have spoken at the Northeast College of Health Sciences on bodywork for the LGBTQ+ community and how to make the field more welcoming and accessible to this group. Rowan has joined the Mt. Hope team in order to expand their scope of practice and become accessible to a wider range of clients.
